What are the precautions for operating a crawler drilling rig?

Crawler Drill Rig Drilling Operation Precautions:

1. Connect the guide drill bit with the probe attached to the drill rod and power head. Ensure that the drill bit water nozzle and the drill rig's water circuit are clear and free of leaks before starting drilling.

2. Align the upper and lower joints of the drill rod, and slowly rotate and tighten the connection while gradually feeding the power head. Do not overtighten. Clean the threads and apply thread lubricant before tightening.

3. The drilling speed should not be too fast; the drilling speed should be selected reasonably according to the geological conditions.

4. The probe must use alkaline batteries, and the batteries should never be reused after being used once.

5. When directional drilling, the amount of advancement each time should be controlled at around 1 meter, and the curve should be gradual.

6. If the diesel engine oil pressure is abnormal, stop the machine and check it (see the user manual).

7. Do not change gears while the mud pump is running.

8. Before stopping the Crawler Drill Rig, ensure that the drill rig's operating handle is returned to the neutral position and the diesel engine is at idle speed.
